Death Valley National Park

We ended up in Death Valley for a day or so after we were forced off the Pacific Crest Trail by injury in June 2009.

There are more petroglyph sites in Death Valley than we could find in the available time. The one site we found here was a "sacrifice" site that the Rangers will tell the public about. There are others that we'll find when we go back.

This particular site is right off the main road in Sequoia National Park. The surprise is that it hasn't yet been vandalised.
