In 2007, we found this site in Northwestern Pennsylvania a few miles outside of Brandon in Venango County. It wasn't difficult to get to - just difficult to find because even the local Chamber of Commerce didn't know.
When we did find it, after 10 miles of dirt road and a 3-mile walk up the river, it was questionable whether it was worth it. Mucho "historic grafitti" and not much in the way of older petroglyphs. But the little that was there is somewhat different from most other sites. Remniscent, perhaps, of some other strange and unusual sites?
